Life as we know it

Is just about to end

We received a gift from heaven above

We waited 3 long months to share the news

They were over the moon to find out about you

We can’t wait to see your face

Or cuddle you so near

We can’t wait to kiss your cheeks

Or whisper in your ear

Though we’ve never met

Already we love you

But all will change come March

That’s when they say you’re due.
